Whats the best plugin for this?
The defaults aren't that good, so i'm trying to find the best, is glide64 the best?

Verify game and game settings.
There is also an RDB update needed for the Lost Woods.
Glide64 usually needs higher-end video technology.
The instance in which it does not work for you is not necessarily good.
Another plug-in "Rice's Video Plugin" had good low-end support.
You should try RiceVideo 6.1.0[c].

Wasn't at lost woods, the crash would occur randomly
Unhandled opcode something.

Then re-install, depends where you got it, but people mostly worry about that too much.
Magically I somehow delay to mention this, but special cheats can be very dangerous. Some of them just make basic edits while others affect entire groups.
So hit Ctrl+C to see if there is anything to uncheck.
To clear any sorts of corruptions (from cheats or otherwise) just restart the game to load your progress without things like save states or emulated features.

I'll try pj64 version 1.5 and see if it helps, my save file should be there right?

If you install 1.5 to a new folder make sure contents of "Save" folder for the 1.6 version are transferred over to be used.
