Can someone please help me because after about 30 seconds of game play, a message shows up and tells me PJ64 needs to shut down. So I click the Send Error button and it shuts down. Can anyone tell me why it keeps doing this? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I still have the same problem.:confused:
This usually pops up before it shuts down;
Access Violation
While processing graphics data an exception occured
you may need to restart the emulator

What are your system specs? What GFX plugin are you using? is this problem occuring only on one game, or multiple games? Need more info to help figure out what may be causing the error.

I think this is my Gfx card
Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family
Any other info you need?
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
2.79 GHz, 0.99 GB of RAM
And I get this shut down problem with multiple games.
Oh and the plugin I'm using for PJ64 is Jabos Direct3D8 1.6

Try using Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5.2, slower but less errors

A bad copy of the game, hacking devices like GameShark code support, and save states can also cause the error.
Changing to the Direct3D6 plug-in as already suggested is also good. You can also change it to most other plug-ins besides just that as well.
Your video card is below specs, which is why that option is reduced even further.

Can you suggest a better video card?

DirectX and OpenGL rendering is most supported here by NVIDIA GeForce and ATI Radeon cards.
