Hey everybody,
First let me say that I've been enjoying Project64 (v1.6)for the last few years. It's great, I love it.

Problems problems....

I installed it on a friend new desktop and I am getting constant crashes.
The system is a new but basic desktop.

Windows XP home
2.50 Gh Pentium dual core
1Gb RAM
Board: Gigabyte G31MF-S2
Graphics: Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset (I think)

Ok so what's happening sounds quite similar to the poster below. I can get a few minutes of gameplay and then ... it either slows down to a snails pace or I get a warning message
"Access Violation - while processing graphics data an access violation occurred you may need to start your emulator"
I have tried all the conbos of graphics plug ins that I can think of. It goes better with Jabos direct 3D6.1.5.2

This is the same proggie and ROMS that my 5 year old laptop have been running without the slightest error for years.

UnderSpec video card. Intel graphics chips are garbage. They are the basic bare bones of graphics cards. This is where your trouble lies. Jabo D36 is about the best your going to get with the current GFX setup.

Hey thanks Mustang,

Bit of news... after lots of headscratching and frustration I got it up and (mostly) running by reverting to Netframework 1.1 and using only transfer memory.
This combo works for most games so far..... have no idea why.

I am now running Jabos Direct 3D81.6

I searched around for Jabo D36 can't find it yet...
Do you think I should try it now I have it going with 3D81.6?

Cheers, Redux

3D8 is generally faster than 3D6, and if you're not having anymore problems, then don't worry about it.

on a side note, pj64 works fine for me on every intel graphics chip I've come across, even if they are rubbish for big PC game titles.
