Character just walks while using adapter

Hi !
Im using an N64 adapter for usb. But when i play the games the carachter just walks slowly, it jumps normally, but it wont run. Range is on 100 % and deadzone is on 0 % do anybody know what i can do?

Control Panel > Game Controllers (XP) then calibrate.
(Win7/Vista) Devices and Printers. right click on the control and click controller properties, then calibrate in the properties screen)
