wont work for windows7?

I just upgraded my hp pavillion from vista home premium to windows 7 ultimate. PJ64 worked just fine when i had vista but as soon as i installed 7 i keep getting an error 8876086A. its a graphics error and i have no idea how to fix the problem. please help. thank you.:confused:

Looks like a problem with DirectX, you should try updating DirectX (Web Installer is fastest over the Large Bi-monthly Offline installers) and your Video Card Drivers. If you need to know how to update these, check the DirectX website and consult your Video Card's/Computer's documentation.
