The idea is to determine your video hardware--which evidently is a cause for the slow speed maybe? Basically just open the DirectX diagnosis, and somewhere should be the label.

Go to the Display tab, take a screenshot, and upload it. Can you do that?

There's no Display tab?
How about in Project64 Options Settings... change graphics plugin to Jabo's Direct3D8 then Options Configure Graphics Plugin: should list your video driver at the top-left below the tabbing interface

DirectX9 is great, but the slow speed is possibly because of your hardware.

Sorry it didn't load.

Either type the text, or if you use Alt+PrtScrn you can paste it (Ctrl+V) into an image document maybe with MS Paint or Photoshop etc., save it and upload it.

your system is almost identical to one of mine. On my similar laptop, i can max out AA and Anisotropic which is more than my core 2 can handle so i know for a fact it should be capable or less.

the only differences are the cpu and gpu. what is the screen res you are trying to run it at and what is the fps?

also, do you know the approximate year when the grafix card was made and the vram it has?

edit: damn confucius. ^^^^^^^^^^what poster above said.

Strangely enough, I found it rather amusing when you found out about the date of the thread AFTER you wrote a chunk of text.
