I finally got my N64 controller (the controllers made by Nintendo, the official one), connected it, and loaded up Super Mario 64. To my dismay, Mario turned very slow and didn't even run, just walk. I went to the settings and turned up the deadzone. However, the joystick stopped working completely. I turned it back down to the default 20 and it started working again. I turned it to 0 for the lulz and noticed Mario turning and moving slightly faster. I thought higher deadzone = faster? Anyone know what's wrong? If it helps, this is the adapter I have:

calibrate the controller, and use a newer version of nrage plugin.

Errr...I'm using Jabo's DirectInput.... the N-Rage won't detect my controller for some reason.
