View Full Version : Sound problems

At first, I tried out Turok. It worked fine when it came to audio.

However, I've tried many others out (Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini, Goldeneye, Quake 64, Mission Impossible) and all have the same problem.

The visual works fine. However the problem is that the sound tends to both skip and make a crunchy sound.

I've tried several different plugins (audio and graphical), and pretty much all the games have the same audio problem.

Now that I think about it, Turok wasn't exactly sounding great either.

Anyway, anyone know what to do? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

use Zilmar Audio and increase the buffer till crackling stops, if the audio lags then the buffer is to long and your audio hardware or drivers are at fault.
