View Full Version : Zelda OOT cut scenes out of sync

ok, I'm sure this is kinda trivial, after all the game plays awesome all the way through. however it still bugs me a lot that the video cut scenes (piticuarly the ending) are always out of sync. The video runs faster then the audio, then the video ends cutting off the audio.

I keep hoping that with each new version of project 64, this issue will be fixed but it never is. Manjora's mask works perfectly though.

Anyone that's ever noticed this or has suggestions on how to fix it?

The problem is most likely the audio plugin..

ok well ive used 2 different copys of OOT now and they both have the same problem, and ive looked at the audio plug in area, I don't know much about it but ive tried the "sync audio to video" and it doesn't effect anything. still the same problem.

What audio plugin are you using, and what counter factor? Those 2 will make a big difference. Also PJ64 has audio timing issues. If you want to test whether the issue is the emulator core, or the plugin, try using mupen 0.5.1. If the audio is in sync while using the same audio plugin, then the issue is the emulator core. I've done a lot of testing the past 10 days.

I wish I could spend more time on this stuff, but I got finals :( .
