Will you describe into the contents of your Save folder? So they can note what the other emulators do and implement what you mean, into what exactly Project64 doesn't do in regards to this

For any given game what are the filenames of the various save files stored?

I'm talking about the option to save the file with a name writen by you, on the folder you want, and the option to load a save file from a directory. Not only the slot. If there is a way I dont know!?

Do you understand me?

System\Save As "Ctrl+S" works. Taking your reference as to instant mapping saves

You can also use System>Load As to load these files.

If a file was not written on save try restarting emulation in case of a cut.

I still don't find that option or the other one, and I have P64 1.6

Options Settings
under the Options tab uncheck Hide Advanced Settings... this is starting to get more troublesome than safe.

Exploring "advanced settings" is not hard at all. It really is not. Here are some images to guide you in the appropriate direction...;)

Do I hint a wee bit of sarcasm Mr. Iconoclast?
