About gifs or apngs

There is any support in the plugin jabo 1.7 for gif format or apng (Animated png format)?
Does anyone tried to make animated textures?
Some one of emudesc forum have told me that its possible to make dinamic textures as gif.
Im not sure,Is possible?

GIF is not supported by DirectX.
Animations will not load as N64 replacement textures (especially the experimental APNG, which hasn't been published beyond specifications for engineering).

GIF is a GDI backed format.
