I am experiencing random freeze/lock up's mid game whilst playing both of these roms, it does not appear to be on the list of known issues. I have tried several graphic/audio options and plugins but nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
P.S - If it helps at all, when the game freezes "Directx device is ready" appears at the bottom.

For this game have you tried Rice's Video Plugin 6.1.1?

I have, it does not seem to help unfortunately.

What kind of freezing (or lock-ups) have you been getting? Can you send a screenshot of the game in result of these?
It may not even be a plug-in issue.

I will try to get a screenshot back to you asap.

Here is a screenshot of the freeze. As you can see, all appears normal. These freezes occur anytime in game anywhere from in a small cinematic after hitting a home run or in real time when hitting a ball. This occurs in both windowed and full screen modes at all resolutions.

Hey thanks for the detailed tests.
The resolution of window and full screen display or using either mode shouldn't have any relation to whether it crashes, just for future reference. By changing the resolution the game's native design resolution is still a reference for vector resize, which shouldn't have physical meaning to why a crash/hang would happen. Things like that would more likely be the microcode engine a certain game uses; the resolution is just Project64's projection.
Full screen mode, if any difference, is generally actually less stable because of the new method unique to your system, meaning crashes could happen outside of the game. Plus for some of the unfortunate users some crashes within the game can force you to reboot if during full screen display. This makes your own system more sensitive, though not the emulated system.
Let's try an advanced memory setting. This is actually going to slow down the game quite a bit, but it's good for getting information.
Make sure advanced settings aren't hidden. This control is through Options/Settings... in tab "Options".
Now when you right-click games like All Star Baseball there is context option "Edit Game Settings". Through this set "CPU core style" to Interpreter.
See if game crashes.

After setting the "CPU core style" to "Interpreter", the game still froze unfortunately. I very much appreciate all the time you are putting in to help me by the way.

I still haven't found a way to experience your report. If you're still around it is great if I can get some exact instructions or like a save state. Sometimes issues like this--though how little sense this makes--can actually be dependent on some game settings.
From the edit you made I would also worry about changes made outside of Project64, but a good check would be to un-install and then re-install.
