i believe the best solution would be to buy a usb xbox 360/games for windows controler and set it up with the pj 64

i have tested and the pj 64 is 100% compatible with a 360 controller

or alternativley, BUY AN N64!

a few n64 games are also available on the xbox live arcade like banjo kazooie
and theyre adding perfect dark soon

console homebrew is a waste of money and is very pointless indeed, just use your computer.

you can buy pc cases these days the size of the xbox360 with good on-board gpus and tv-outs.

plug in a xbox360 pad and walllah You created an homebrew enabled console that sits under your tv

It is possible to run an n64 emulator on the original xbox by using linux. However pj64 is for windows only, so unless you can get it to work on linux you'll need to use a different emulator. You might check out WINE and see if pj64 is supported.

Anyways, a google search will get you what you need to know about n64, linux, and the original xbox. Sorry it's not on the 360, although progress is being made on getting linux on the xbox360. If/when that happens you could probably expect to see n64 emulation on the 360.
