adding gameshark cheats

ok so i get turok rage wars one of my favorite n64 shooting games
and then i see that there is only cheats for player 1 so i look up to see if theres for player 2
so i find some
i check how to add cheats
i see that all characters needs 2 codes so i put them in
then i restart the rom
and nothing
codes dont work
i tried pressing the gs button(whatever that means-i think it means gameshark)
i did the memory card option
i restarted pj64

but i cant get them to work:confused::confused::confused::confused::confu sed:

Make sure it still works without cheats.

yah the rom works it just the codes dont

Can you be exact on the cheats you have tried?
either by giving the actual code or at least a name description

i tried the enable one
i put it in the code and even as a new cheat
still doesnt work

You should avoid the enable codes with an emulated device.

When you right-click the Cheats list going "Add New Cheat", you tried filling in the dialogue like this?
