Pokemon Stadium crash/freeze

I'm trying to complete the gym leader castle, but after the 2nd battle, 4th gym, the game always freezes. (even if I save and quit and try to load it, it freezes after about a second)
I messed around with a ton of options and plugins, and nothing worked so far.

What version of project64 are you using? Also please post the recompiler settings you are using.

I was having this problem on 2.3.2, so I downloaded 2.4.0984 and the problem persisted.
On Recompiler, it's currently on the default settings: Recompiler, physical lookup table, all boxes checked except "advanced block linking" and "protect memory"

I lurked around to see what could work, changing to "interpreter", as well as changing the 2nd option, didn't work, as well as unchecking all those boxes. (as well as the ones on the "config", but I didn't try to use every possible combination of checked/unchecked etc)

The "closest" I came to "fixing" it was setting Counter factor at 6, in which the next battle cutscene played for longer, with offsync audio, but the game froze anyway before the team selection part.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I'd love to try it, if you can send me a save state :D.
