Stupid Question In Need Of Stupid Answer........
 

I have downloaded the new beta and want to "install" it on my computer.

How would I go about doing it seeing as it doesn't have a installer?

damnit, this generation is too spoilt with their fancy installers.

Installation requires other software. If there is software as a medium through which to do this then you have the installer.

So this is standalone with no installation?

you can download the complete package, just need to unzip it to a folder.

1.6 is the only version with the installer.

I am considering looking at how to make 1.7 to have an installer, but for now and a while it will be just a self contained zip

An executable installer will just do things like shortcut icons on desktop, Start Menu, organization of files and relative data about its presence on your hard drive. It will be the same as if you create the shortcut on your desktop etc. yourself.

I only know the first gen, Mew and Togepi, and some of the later.
Chansey was probably born in Australia, but one of them sick kangaroo demons brought it over to Japan.

So as it turns out, before the Growlithe came the Arcanine. :O

Yeah, a meteor made out of Fire stone hit the Pokeplanet, more specifically, it hit a growlithe, who evolved right before the meteor hit the rest of the earth. Such a huge fire stone created such a huge arcanine who was able to break up the fire stone with his claw. Even though arcanines are not as "legendary" as the first one, they are still called the "legendary pokemon" for that reason :P

Legendary for having a meteor crash land on its back. OMG you poor thing, welcome to the legendary Pokemon club.

Yeah, you don't even wanna know how Celebi became a legendary.

Hmmmm.... Ah yes, that's right. They were balloons, then they floated by the stinkiest muk in the world and it smelled so bad, they had to come to life to cover their noses. :P

Although that doesn't yet explain that green dude's erection for the pink guy.

Pff, Celebi's a girl, no guy pokemon would stand living with such a high pitched voice like that :P

I didn't know Pokemon had genders now :/, except Nidoran and Nidorino.

Like all those Legendaries, how many are there now? Fifty? How are they legendary anymore? The only one that's really still legendary is Arcanine :P

Beats me, but that'd be funny :P What I find amusing is that female and male pokemon look exactly the same, so if you can tell what gender they are, how come you can't tell what gender Lugia is?
