don't blame zilmar, he has good reasons for needing time out, i don't. but zilmar has made the effort to get back to me and i want to make the effort to get the next version of pj64 moving again in any way i can.. however! i have a trip previously booked that's going to take me away for another couple of months. xmas 2008/2009 might see things happening again? we'll see. the most important thing is if zilmar and jabo still want to do it and if we still have support (i.e. the users still want a new version). personally, i have a lot of catching up to do but I think we could pick it up again quite quickly if the old team gets back together.. p.s. sorry everyone i should have made things clearer last year but things got depressing for me for various reasons that have little to do pj64 itself. p.p.s yes my personal site is gone due to moving to a cheaper ISP and i should have posted something about that too. but for now i'm just happy to see pj64 isn't over. thanks guys.

on a lighter note.. *my* new baby is a white nintendo DS on which i intend to catch up on nintendo's latest, during my trip. i saw jabo posted about the new zelda games.. and seriously, i think its important to keep enthusiasm for the games too or this work lacks heart somehow? are we getting too old for these games (or playing games in general)? i hope not!

Most of us probably understand your situation. However, I think it should have been fair to have posted something much sooner about your previous 6 months not being enough to get back to your project. People, especially donators, were really, if already, losing hope.

Good luck with your life, as it comes first... second, your work and projects.

"Most of us probably understand your situation."

Why would you repeat something like that? You can pretend to understand his situation using compassion and pessimism, but none of these things really matter. All of them have side effects. We don't know what thoughts were about people "losing hope." Bear in mind that this is a project hosted online and not a separate religious faith...you emphasize only that hope is confused with something as simple as patience.
