Quick Update - 8 September 2008

Just to let you know my wife had a beautiful boy the other week, just in time for Fathers day. I am still working on the site. The updates to the site now are more functional based/content based then they are design. I am happy with the design. Some of the new changes that I will upload soon is related to the beta download section and the way user join the site.
I was curious if people use RSS reader to keep up to date with things that go on, or do you continually just check out the sites you know and love?

I from times to times check statut of project... Not enough updates to use RSS I think.

Great for the baby ...

I hope you'll finalize 1.7 version soon and make it public, so that more people use it. The plugin glide64 "napalm" works very well with the version 1.6, and it's good for "re-texturing". But it doesn't work very well with version 1.7 : problems with dialog & even got once a BSOD.

Congrats on your new addition to family :)

I myself use a RSS feed to keep up to date with all my favourite sites, and obviously, this is one of them. Looking forward to the new beta. ;D

Congratulations about the boy.

As for the feeds I normally use them. In this type of sites (those that barely updates) you can forget about it and still read news as they come fresh.
It's for laziness mainly, to avoid checking 30 sites which only 3 or 5 updates regularly.

HatCat 8th September 2008 02:16 PM

I don't even care what RSS means.

I just check the site, and I'm happy with that.

I use RSS. Though when I click the article to take me to the site I get
"The page you are trying to access does not exist.
Please select a page from the main menu."

I get updates from the RSS feed so if you were thinking about deleting it, please don't! I also encounter the following "The page you are trying to access does not exist" when following a link from the RSS feed.

The URL is some garbled rubbish, seems to keep the right blog post ID (619 in this case) but an incorrect link to the post.

The design is cool so you do right to focus on content.

zilmar 9th September 2008 08:49 AM

Thanks for pointing out the links in the RSS feed were broken I did not know. It should be fixed now. Tho it might take a little while for people to see it due to caching issues.

congrats on your new son.

I never use rss, since this site is my homepage and I usually let the page load up before I go to other sites.

Congradulations on your new son!

I do use RSS reader to keep up to date, always. It's far easier than checking periodically for new updates on my favorite websites, specially since I have several favorite websites and from time to time I lose track of some of them.

An Audio Plugin that allows you to dump sounds would be nice.
Just like the Graphics Plugin that allows you to dump textures.

I know this isn't nesessarily an emulator thing, but if someone is reading this that is capable...

HatCat 22nd September 2008 01:27 PM

If you want Jabo's DirectSound has a Start/Stop control on waveform audio writing to disk. Click Start in the sound plugin config and you choose where to dump it.
