How to add a patch?

I have a patch for the game The legend of Zelda ocarina of time, but I do not know how to install him can you help me?

HatCat 28th August 2009 10:18 PM

Can you give some descriptions on the patch?

There are various formats with how to patch them each.

AzertyKenzo 28th August 2009 10:55 PM

It is a file ppf

I am French thus it is hard to find textbook and all this on the site which is in English

PPF is known extension for Playstation Patch File.
If the format coincides as PPF, see if you can use PPF Studio to apply the patch.

Patch for playstation?
It is not normal...

The link of download died.
Or rather I believe

HatCat 29th August 2009 01:50 PM

Yeah I checked up on that.
The format was originally designed for PlayStation. It may still work here.

That link was supposed to show a download through here?

Thank you but I make what with?

HatCat 30th August 2009 01:42 AM

Can you install PPF Studio through that link?

AzertyKenzo 30th August 2009 05:04 PM

Yes, I can but then I make what with the software?

Actually the issue raised first in this thread was to apply the patch to Zelda Ocarina of Time. To create a patch is another process, but I don't know how to use PPF Studio to do either because I need to start doing some cracking to even install that on my end.

I'm sure there is a help feature documenting how to do things like that.
Otherwise check with the source from which you got the patch file.
