walking instead of running in super mario 64
so i finally got sm64 to work with my gamecube controller and when i loaded it up mario cant run even though the stick is pushed all the way forward, if anyone knows a fix please tell me. i have a smash bros gamecube and a wii u official adapter if that matters, thanks in advance.

JoyToKey has a calibrator for analog sticks,that worked for me back in the day for making Dreamcast emulator input behave properly with the analog stick.
Other than that,make sure the plugin's deadzone setting is at something low enough like 3% or 2%,but DON'T use 0% because that causes sensitivity issues when mapping buttons.
If default range is allegedly set too low,then set it to 95% or 99% range as 100% may have the same side-effect as lowest deadzone.

well i figured it out, if anyone one was wondering how all i did was put the analog stick range to 100%.
