Thanks for the build! This brought the init time down from 23 seconds to 6 seconds (timed them both). Still not perfect, but definitely way better! So it looks like we are only enumerating the HID...

I'm a bit confused how this would work, the dwDevType of a device should always be a a DI8DEVTYPE* value, not a DI8DEVCLASS* value, right? If it's a DI8DEVCLASS* value, that seems a lot more simple....
