If you have the hardware for it, I say go for it, it's still being actively developed on and improved. Far from perfect, sure, but it gets a lot of things done right IMHO. Proper alpha dithering...

Glad you're going with Glide 64 and not that horribly broken Rice Video lol. :D That plugin messes up the HUD in a lot of Konami games.

Since a long time ago, maybe if you used GlideN64 and the right RSP plugins, you would get them working. I've been able to play them fine for ages.

You must be doing something wrong, with the right plugins those games can work just fine. And it's apples to oranges, Dolphin is Gamecube, it uses PPC, PJ64 is N64, that uses MIPS. Bad comparison is...

It's not the crackling per se, but rather, way back when those two games ran at 50 VI/s but had clean audio, instead of 60 VI/s. Gauntlet Legends has bad audio with most plugins.

Gauntlet Legends only sounds decent on a few plugins, 007: The World is Not Enough also uses it as far as I know. I think even Resident Evil 2 uses it to compress audio, Factor 5 wrote some crazy...
