First, Dolby Surround will work on a DPL mixer. Second, when you say "stereo pseudo surround" you make it sound like it's a stereo signal, with no surround information, being converted into 5.1....

I think this idea would be more of an add-on for the media centers (Windows Media Center and XBMC) then for PJ64, since it would probably be just an application launcher.
