Question Kirby 64 and the Crystal Shards

I cant get to the mini boss on the first level. I go in the log cabin and nothing happens! Is there something wrong with the ROM or do i need to change some settings?

2. If you got to the controller configure in the options menu it will have a thing called 'Deadzone'....

I read the game FAQ after what Squall Leonhart had said. To me it made no sense, so it was easier to understand coming from rswedlow. But next time ill make sure I read the FAQ first.
