Unlike PJ64 1.6, and unlike the (U) ROM, PJ64 1.7 does NOT change the aspect ratio in Mario Kart 64 (E) (V1.1), regardless of the "Override aspect" setting in the ROM settings.

This happens when you use the "adjust aspect ratio" option, but are playing in a 4:3 ratio.
This behaviour may be quite annoying if you switch between a 4:3 resolution in fullscreen and a widescreen...
