Default Project 64 and Kirby hate eachother.

So, I was trying to play Kirby 64 with Project 64 earlier, but every time I try to start the first level, it freezes. I can control my cursor for a few seconds after that, but then I lose control of that and I can't do anything on my computer so I have to restart it.
I've also tried using different roms and re-installing Project 64.

This is really annoying, I just want to play Kirby 64 (because I sold my old N64).

Any help would be appreciated.

This isn't a game or emulator issue, it sounds more like something is wrong with your system itself.
