Yeah I understand man. Some of these monotonous trials eventually you guys worked through on a low level of testing and fixed the issue, some pretty respectable work. Others like these where it seems most of us can't test this mal-generated code ChrisHighwind is experiencing, well it's a lot harder to debug things apparently.

Maybe zilmar would know about something particular to either your hardware or driver software (or...your OS, you're using Windows 7 or Vista?) that the emulator core is generating bad code on. It'd be nice if you had time to test some of the much older EXE builds, though a lot of those have the beta members error glitched into them.

I forgot to ask if you've tested with the "CPU core style" set to "Interpreter"? Does it crash then on a build where normally it would?

it would of been nice if i had error logging of some kind ... that's really the first step to diagnosing this kind of problem, it's creepy that it works for everyone else however...

it's also suspicious that nothing works at all for him in 1.7, even the old plugins...

There is the logging feature implemented as well, but damn I guess it's been too long of a time. I guess by the time the ban expired this person went inactive T_T. Ah well I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles.

I'm thinking it's something like advanced block linking or some other re-compiler control at this point.

[delete the config files.] Only thing being that he said the issue persisted on 1.7.0.47, which unless he already had that installed with bad configuration stored in the system registry from previous.

Well, for the sake of addressing the matter of the thread itself, I think a better question is what this guy is asking about lmao.

The way I remember it Djipi had some of his OOT texture work ported to Jabo's Direct3D 1.7, so if you have...beta access you can use that with Jabo's instead. RiceVideo has some various issues with textures and related glitches.

lawl maybe you should upgrade then, because the latest is 1.7.0.50

Oh wait wasn't .45 the cracked version? lol

wait I thought only beta members had access to the 1.7 forums now? Am I mistaken? If so then he's legit, so go upgrade nao.

Jabo made it so that you couldn't create a new thread in the forum for issues with 1.7. You can still post.

And yeah tbh 45 was cracked sorry but 1.7 support is for the genuine binary.
