Majora's Mask Won't Start

Hi everyone! I'm new to the Nintendo 64 emulator so I have NOOOOOOO idea what I'm doing.

I have the Rom of Zelda-Majora's Mask, but when I start it, it says

"You've met with a terrible-" ermm I mean "Cannot open a rom because plugins have not successfully initialized." Have no idea what that means. After that I get something about exceptions caught or whatever.

If someone can help me or direct me to a newbie section thingy or whatever that'll be great.
