I did see another thread with this issue, and some rather rude replies . . .
I did look around for an answer before coming here to ask; and I did already enable "Copy Framebuffer to RDRAM". But the issue remains. Is there no known fix or, is there a second option? Also, is it my ROM - or the EMU that is not detecting the Pokemon as I aim at them? Even if I fix my image issue, I believe I need the Camera's Crosshair to take not of the Pokemon as I take picture, for the pictures to even be used in the end. Is this game just not playable on EMU? |

It relies on a hack.
The hardware-accelerated frame buffer works a lot better with Project64 2.0 with Jabo's Direct3D8 1.7.x, so I would recommend temporarily upgrading to that. The game never was completely playable and still isn't, because camera-activated events like Grimer/Muk in the cave, Lapras on the beach, and the 6 PKMN signs are not encompassed by the hack's measures. Though I've always wondered whether it was a RCP issue or a core OS functions issue of some sort. Is it something I should at this time be worried about programming a fix, etc.
