Hlefx.dll

You know I agree though, the name should really be somewhat descriptive to the plugin. I think there should be mention of the root source it stemmed from just for educational purposes (being open sourced)

I see where you're going.

zglide64.dll would be more appropriate.

Does it really matter what the name is? >.>

regardless of whether or not it starts, branches or w/e from glide64, doesnt mean you have to give it a name as such.

I mean anyone in the emulation scene will obviously know it started from glide64, and you can always put in the about section of the plugin that it was made using glide64.

Naming the plugin is easy.

It's the file name that's a lot harder.

Many plugin files use the same exact file name plus or minus author names, version numbers...
z64/zilmar/my rsp are all named rsp.dll essentially.

But they have different names buffered over to GetDllInfo.

Naming it "OpenGL DP Test Device" (literal, scientific name) or "zilmar's OpenGL" or "Project64 OpenGLLE" (latter favoring open-source team effort) is easy, but the file names are all the same for many plugins.

Orkin's OpenGL plugin was called "glN64", so think about it...they're all the same except group-team fancy, creative names

A short dll file name would be `openglle.dll`.

"Open" to anyone who would like to help.

LLE for graphics emulation using the OpenGL cross API.

Doesn't leave out so much info.

A bit skewed but, many file name truncations are such.

If zilmar's goal is NOT LLE then it will use GLide64's HLE microcode research which will still be more closely related to the original Glide64 plugin so keep that in mind
