I find I can run pj64 from the command line, using a .cmd file created by a little front-end program I have written for my grandchildren. However I was surprised to find that it wil not run .zip roms from the command line, only files with the .v64 extension. It runs the selfsame .zip files happily in normal GUI mode but declares the file to be invalid if I use a command like -[path]\Project64.exe [path]\Airboarder.zip Is there any way round this (other than unzipping the files and ending with a ROM directory cluttered with file fragments).

there are several front ends, which allow you to create desktop shortcuts, which would work around this.
