I was wondering if there was a way to view the memory debugger in real time (vs. having everything dumped to a text file). I am looking for a way to determine what addresses in the ROM image are being addressed by a specific action (ex: by selecting a menu item).
Many thanks for any who can shed some light on this. |

What emulator and version are you using? Cheat engine is a nice alternative if you can't find a way to do it with your emulator's built in function, since it works for almost anything. It does require more knowledge to use advanced features though.
I usually use Nemu or cheat engine for debugging (sometimes even both at the same time ![]() |

Assuming the game runs on Nemu, that would be your best option

Alright. I'll download that and give it a crack when I have the opportunity. When I do I'll be sure to let you know.
