There we go. Now that I've gotten off my ass to search for that ol' link again on how to "install DirectX properly", I recommend this solution instead.

So I installed XINPUT and the DirectX update, and still nothing. When I tired to configure it I even pressed down on the analogs and it never registered. When I push any other button besides the sticks it works fine, but the analogs are still stubborn so far.

Are you still configuring Jabo's DirectInput or N-Rage's DirectInput to get the support working?

Because the purpose of that installation from earlier on in this thread was so that you could switch the input plugin to N-Rage's using Options/Settings... in Project64.

Yeah, I'm switched over to N-Rage. That's where I am, and it's still giving me trouble.

I know this may be obvious but did you check the analogues were working on the game controller settings in control panel or in another game?

Yes, I tried it with my PSX emulator. It didn't work there, either.

I'm being led to believe that no matter what I do the analogues won't work for anything.

EDIT: Oh my goodness you have to be kidding me. This whole time I never knew to press the Analog button on the controller. Now that I have, the analogs work perfectly fine.

Hehe, thanks a lot for the help anyways, guys!

Glad it was that simple, cause having me figure that possibility out wasn't that simple. =D
