Default Ways to get Banned...??

Before beginning making questions about things out there I'd like to know the "Illegal" posts/threads
(Yes I know --"Why don't you read the godda... terms and conditions?"-- I've read it already but I don't understand much)

Does these themes get me automtically banned from here?

1-Questioning/Talking about other emulators

2-Making questions about games

3-Giving links/mail directions

Well, that's all for now.
(I made this because I've been banned from absolute-playstation last year, I couldn't read the terms and conditions, I made questions about making ISOs and... well you know --"You have been banned"--)

we probaly should sit down and work out a better policy of what should and not be accepted.

Spamming outside sites like something about vigra is the quickest way to get banned.

Suggesting/linkning to roms might get you banned, or at least a strong warning.

A lot of forums are messes, though with at least a comparatively stable board such as this I think a fairly simple concept is applied.

Two types of things to do I think, things that need warning, things that are obviously malicious. Something not of ill-intent might still come from someone with good intent in the future, so a warning is appropriate to begin with in case they were unaware of a law of compliance. Any ignored warning may be preceded by a renewed warning in the form of a temporary ban.

Separate that from then to malicious actions like knowingly linking to ROM sites in spite of knowing the forum trend to respect legal forms of emulation, insistently posting nothing on the forum but offensive text instead of at least having some kind of debate, being a useless bot, etc.. Should never have to ban someone unless the person is being obsolete and unreasonable.

Ok I think I got it, maybe because that there was an answer to a game request
(wroten by me) in wich I gave a link to download Super Mario 64 (it is in the page 2 of this forum) and I think it was erased.

Then I thougt "They're gonna ban me quietly!!!!", so I made this thread, I got banned one time, and I still have a lot of questions... I will not let it happen again

I think you're good. None of that stuff in the list you gave should get you banned here...talking about other emulators is fine as long as not done in disrespect of an active thread focusing strictly on Project64 or something. Maybe keep such things in the Open Discussion form like as here.

Ok, that works for me.

Are you and that guy with the yellow-face avatar the creators of PJ64?
