Default Links and Moderation

If you post an external link, you need a mod to accept your post to prevent spam.

That's OK, but...
...much of the time, it isn't even an external link, but a link to THIS SITE. So why must it still need to be moderated? Even if you're just quoting someone else who posted a link?

And how many would I need?

Also that still doesn't change the fact that having to get links to THIS SITE moderated is stupid.

5 to post a link, 25 for no moderation ...

Sounds like a bug because it is meant to allow links to the pj64 site .. tho I do not really have any time to find/fix it at the moment

Most of the bugs on this site have been around for months if not years due to lack of time into investing them, but you can always bypass the links issue.

For example use forum BB tags or text filtering, less conspicuous effects in-between the http and www identifiers of the URL as a link, so that it doesn't get linked, or you can uncheck "Automatically parse links as text" in the post options while submitting your reply.
