I am trying to transfer Majora's Mask save data from sixtyforce to PJ64. Does anybody know how I can do this. BTW the sixtyforce saves' file extension is .n64save I already tried changing the name and extension to match those of the PJ64 saves.

Coincidentally 1964's storage of the FlashRAM data is about 128 KB, which is the rounded size of your upload as well.
Provided Sixtyforce was using FlashRAM format there probably is an emulator for Windows that could read it. It could even just be the new header that can offset reading. The files are so different that there probably needs to be a conversion utility. There are some specific save converters for individual cases but of this one none that I know of, sorry. |

It doesn't work in 1964. Thanks for the suggestion though, it sounds like I'm outta luck.

Check and see if sixtyforce let's you save in different formats. For example, in MS Word, you can save as .doc, .docx, .rtf, etc
Project 64 may be able to open some different formats if you can save with them.

Unless its possible to save differently with some sort of plugin, the .n64saves, and the .n64freeze (save state) are the only formats it supports.
The best solution I can come up with is to delete the three objects from the rom that are causing the problem in sixtyforce(in a texteditting program) , but I don't know how to locate them in the rom. |

There are hex editors, (Maybe I should attach Niew64 lol.) but if you want to disassemble the game, LemAsm works, too.
Problem with LemAsm is you can only edit in that mode. If you want to hex edit though there are many other solutions. |

Someone made a converter to convert Sixtyforce saves (battery saves, not save states) to the format used by Mupen64 and Project64. Here it is: hacksden.com/showthread.php/7705-Simple-Byteswapper-for-N64-saves.
