Default Banjo-Tooie (U): game inexplicably hangs after getting first Jiggy

I'm trying to play Banjo-Tooie with PJ64 2.1.0.1, and the game simply hangs right after the cutscene where Banjo leaves King Jingaling's throne room upon getting the first Jiggy. I used Glide64 Final and Jabo's D3D8 plugin 1.7 and it made no difference. Oddly enough, this problem didn't occur last week, when I last tested the game (I went to Jiggywiggy's temple with no problems whatsoever). What could be wrong?

EDIT: Never mind, I figured out that N-Rage's Input Plugin 2.3c is the source of this problem. Replaced it with the final official version and it worked fine.

Really?

Intriguing that only you experience this.

Its probably your DirectX device being out of whack with the system, sometimes it happens on many pads for no particular reason and when it does, a call to the FFB driver can crash the application.

open up joy.cpl, click advanced hit ok.
its that simple.

Indeed intriguing, since the only game that got this issue was Banjo-Tooie. Fortunately, only the game itself froze (except for the music), the emulator kept running normally.
Anyway, this 2.3c plugin wasn't so much of a loss, since it's virtually the same as the last official one (1.83), which works fine with every game. Too bad it still doesn't support per-game settings, but it's fine.
