regardless, here is a list of games that require rdb changes, with DEFAULT SETTINGS AND PLUGINS on a clean 2.0 latest release: the following games run too fast ("limit fps" does not limit fps...): aidyn chronicles airborder 64 batman beyond battlezone body harvest castlevania chameleon twist chopper attack deadly arts derby stallion dr mario 64 gt64 iss 98 iss 64 kirby 64 magical tetris challenge mahjong 64 mahjong master midway's greastest arcade hits milo's astro lanes nagano winter olympics 98 nba in the zone 98 nba in the zone 99 the new tetris nhl blades of steel 99 powerpuff girls rakuga kids road rash 64 rugrats in paris sim city 2000 south park rally space station silicon valley tetris 64 tom and jerry top gear overdrive wetrix many games have perfect audio but run too slowly - some as low as 20VI/s - up to 66% slower than on a real n64, which is unacceptable - on 1.6/1.7 these games have perfect audio at the proper 60VI/s (with sync game to audio enabled of course) - i had started to make a list of games here, but there were too many, most ~40VI/s - unlike the games that run too fast (above), limit fps does work here (e.g. ON = VI/s too low, OFF = lightspeed) major issues: - buck bumble (unknown memory action error) - beetle adventure racing (timing is completely wrong) - fifa soccer 64 (too fast, no audio, unhandled opcode) - nightmare creatures (wtf is happening with the audio) - resident evil 2 (bad audio) - star wars rogue squadron (hangs) - top gear rally (intro and menus too fast, extremely jerky, audio is even worse) - wcw mayhem (ow my hears) - wcw-nwo revenge (can't see anything?) - world driver championship (jerky at 60VI/s) minor issues: - blast corps (logos before the demo should be true 60fps, but appear jerky) - cruis'n usa and nba hangtime are still slow as hell - disney's tarzan (too slow, audio is glitchy) - doom 64 listed as v1.0 in rdb, V should be uppercase (quick, call the waaaaambulance) - goldeneye intro seems a tad jerky - indiana jones (audio is weird) - san francisco rush 2049 (too slow, audio is glitchy) games that do not boot with default settings and plugins (MOST of these did in 1.6, not all): - blues brothers 2000 (fatal error) - f1 pole position 64 (unhandled opcode) - gauntlet legends (fatal error) - iss 2000 (unhandled opcode) - john romero's daikatana (fatal error) - mia hamm soccer 64 (hangs) - nba in the zone 2000 (unhandled opcode) - nfl quarterback club 98 (hangs) - rat attack (fatal error) - star wars episode 1: battle for naboo (gfx exception) - tonic trouble (fatal error) - twisted edge extreme snowboarding (fatal error) - wcw backstage assult (fatal error) - wwf war zone (unhandled opcode) others - rare pj64 crashes with random games that windows says are caused by jabo's dsound - also whats with the lag in many games when loading demos, cutscenes etc...having the same issues as squall tested on two computers if the cause of all these issues turns out to be my computers being shit, just delete this post lol |

Pretty much what I have been experiencing dsx! ever since 1.7.0.12. Games which usually run perfect, such as WCW/nWo Revenge, WCW Mayhem and WWF No Mercy have been getting around 50 to 53 VI/s compared to the usual 60.
I didn't test any other games which I used to play on 1.6 to make sure that the problem has started from 1.7.0.12. But I may try some on that list on 1.6, 1.7.0.11, 1.7.0.12 and 2.0 to double check. |

tested resident evil 2 (U)
original Speed 30. now running at 50. "fixed by changing ai from 500 to 700". the audio for the intro is so far fine the new game cinematic is fine as well. the audio"if chosen claire" is slightly scratchy. however as soon as the game starts an error shows up "error" "unknown memory action" "emulation now stoped" Last edited by furryfangs; 9th March 2013 at 10:51 AM. your doing a awesome job zilmar.

Jet Force Gemini (U) partially missing poly's and textures during intro before main menu.(might be over use of the emulator after running several"other"roms) Last edited by furryfangs; 11th March 2013 at 06:26 PM. |

with sync to audio on I can get 90%+ of the games to sit at close to 60vi/second.
some of the games seems to sit at 45 vi/s. for example batman. ai: 400 = 45 vi/s ai: 401 = 80 vi/s ai: 402 = 90 vi/s anything less then 400 stays at the 45 vi/s .. if I set it to say ai = 20 it is still 45 vi/s if I set ai to 800 it is still 90 vi/s is 45 acceptable or do any of you think I should disable sync to audio for those games. |
