Default 4 player with mayflash n64 adaptors

Is it possible to set up 4 n64 controllers using 2 of the same mayflash n64 adaptors? They are the two port ones on Amazon (can't post links yet).

I'm currently on windows 8.1 and the os won't recognize the second use adaptor. Thought it might be defective so I returned it for replacement but same issue. What's really odd is it only recognizes the first one I plugged in. If I unplug it and plug in the other it doesn't get recognized. Even after a restart.

I'm also running the most current version of p64.

Sorry if it's been asked before. I tried searching the forum but to no avail.

Stay away from Mayflash products IMO. BSODs left and right with their 'Joybox 3-in-1'

I own the Raphnet Gamecube-USB PC adaptor and it works great. So can recommend theirs as well. They also sell an N64 and Gamecube-USB adaptor. And other N64 related stuff from what I recall.

He even wrote a plugin for PJ64 for raw usage of an N64 controller using his adapter.
