I've only been in the software development world for about a year and i skipped learning C and older languages and went straight to C++ and Basic. I don't know if it is possible but can you add support for Brian Peek's managed wiimote library DLL so you can use a wiimote and its extensions? I think it is a .net 3.0 framework plugin. I've only experimented with the software but have had promising results. The only problem with it is finding a bluetooth adapter and stack that is compatible with the wiimote and DLL. I'm currently using the Rocketfish adapter with the toshiba stack and any version of the dll after 1.3 seems to work. This is the link to the dll brianpeek.com/blog/pages/wiimotelib.aspx

I've heard of glovePIE before but haven't had much experience with it, i'll see what i can do with it, the only thing i would really like to implement is the use of the joystick on the virtual controller and have a dynamic range instead of a static one, from what i have read on it so far it looks like glovePIE will only support the D-pad in this case

ok well i tried glovePIE, worked great the first time, but the only way you can take total control of the joystick is to directly implement it into project 64, the second i used glovePIE it constantly was disconnecting the wiimote from the computer, i used Brian peek's wiimote tester and it worked but the glovePIE emulation didn't work, then when i stopped the emulation it disconnected the wiimotes

Don't know if this has been discussed before;
I really dislike using the keyboard to turn, it's very inaccurate. The mouse should control which direction you move and the keyboard should only make you move backwards or forwards |

Yeah. And sometimes I just say way too much on GitHub/forums, and can't like, shut up, lol.
I was really hoping for a separate, free space for active, quick communication, help people with things more efficiently and keep just the relevant stuff to GitHub issues so that I can contain myself from flowing over them with too many details. So, I'm presuming that nobody would object to Freenode having the channel, as pj64 is an open-source project now? |

How about this driver for it (I haven't tried it)? Known issue seems like a convenience rather than an inconvenience (for having hotplugging). Or you can use wiimoteconnect to keep the wii motes synced (I use this) and see if it will help with your glovepie setup. There's also Wiinupro: http://www.wiinupro.com/home Lastly, there's this: http://www.mayflash.com/products/nin...iigc/w010.html in which you will need no other software but the software that comes with this. Let me know how it works out. Last edited by shinra358; 10th February 2015 at 04:17 PM. |
