1.6 is 16/10 = 8:5 = standard widescreen resolution.

No Project64 widescreen version is not open-source.

I was thinking it might have been nice to see the RSP interpreter in that package, but it's not really as beneficial as the trial and error of just learning without the source. Nothing more valuable than being able to ask yourself and others questions.
