a problem with proj64 v2.x

I downloaded Proj64 V2.x. The emulator opens up fine. But when I open the game Goldeneye 007.z64 the game and the laptop lock up tighter than a drum. I found out it doesn't matter what game I load into the Proj64 v2.x (I tried 5 games). They all put the lines (like the lines on a tv when horizontal hold is moved) and it also locks up the laptop. Ctrl + Alt + Del doesn't work. The only thing I can do is hit the laptop's power button and reboot. The game roms work just fine in V1.7 and the original proj64 emulator. What's up with V2.x.
