Default BT Xbox One Controller setup for Goldeneye

I'm kind of a noob when it comes to emulators. The problem I'm having is setting up my BT Xbox One controller to play FPS style on Goldeneye. I have searched and searched to get straight forward directions on setting this up and can't find anything. I've been in and out of the game/settings and still can't figure it out. I want so badly to play this on my computer. Any help would be much appreciated. Maybe like a screenshot of the button config, or a config save file? I am running the latest Project 64 on Windows 10.

Edit: I tried to use the NRage input plugin 2.2 and it won't show in settings. I put it in the correct input folder. This is the only fix I could find to input my buttons correctly. But can't seem to get it working. I hate to give up. Any ideas?

Hello Geezer,

I feel your pain, it's frustrating when you're trying to do something but don't know how. I've struggled loads with various issues on P64 regarding setup but with the help of this forum I've managed to get everything working perfectly, game and controllers.

Have you sorted it out yet or still trying? I've not played Goldeneye on Project64, only Mario Kart 64, but I have managed to do this with four wireless Xbox One controllers, and it's amazing.

Does your Windows 10 PC recognise your Xbox One controller?

Have you had any success getting Project64 to recognise your controller on the controller plugin screen?

What controller plugin settings have you tried so far?

When I'm home tonight I can take a look at my plugin settings if that's of any help to you and post them on here? I definitely used the default P64 controller plugin though, that much I can remember. Let me know and I'll do what I can to help.

Thanks

Justin
