N64 controls not appearing in controls

When trying to config my USB connected Xbox One controller i am given no N64 controls to set the controller to nor does it allow me to manually set a controller button to a key in the normal config. Anyone have any help/suggestions, i could be doing something wrong here but i have googled a bunch of things with no solution
