I am curious. What more does PJ64 need to be done?

I mean aside from some issues it is very good.

Have you ever thought about moving the main development source code to Google Code, Sourceforge or GitHub, making it easier to find and contribute for a wider audience and allowing the use of an issue tracking system?
maybe something like github could work ... tho any one should be able to clone it now and upload a version to one of those sites if they choose to start playing with it.

For the moment I am happy with it is .. it is working fine, when things stop working or some one wanting to contribute is finding it hard then I might speed the time to change it. I just do not have the time at the moment.

Who wouldn't want one of EmuCR's unstable builds that don't have clear change logs?

In all seriousness, glad the work continues

Arguably nothing, though the same could be said of the other emulators.
The hybrids of HLE and LLE have promoted a leisure gaming experience.

A lot of what needs work is the RCP and the timing issues in the core (some threads you will read complaining about this), and I see that the interpreter core to the CPU host has also maintained some faults which break many ROMs that almost nobody on this forum has.

But it was made so that testing/making changes would be done as-needed by the commercial N64 games. I would rather just make an accurate engine that weighs the balance of algorithm and speed against it so that everybody could use a truly optimized emulator, so a lot of people are constructing the components from scratch rather than asking themselves that very same question of yours.

good news thx ^_^

would it be possible to get the Standalone files for the full releases(ie. non-installer based)?

I drag and drop into a custom Emulation Directory system I use. so I drag and drop overwriting as needed

root\EmulatorRoms\{Folders for each console}\{subdirectories for ROMS, PLugins, etc}

Are there any plans to bring back the 'Edit game settings' right click menu from 1.7? Still using 1.7.0.50 because of this, I really like this version.

I missed shell integration thing that was included in Pj64 1.6... What happened to it in later versions? While I can do similar things with regedit (.reg file for lazy people), but for more convenient, it's better to include in Pj64 settings. Will you plan to put it back in maybe 2.1? I would really like to know.

2.1 is mostly glide64 being added .. some more bug fixes .. Would like it mostly tested and stabilizing it soon. So not really going to be adding that many features.

Will probably be releasing it in the next few weeks once things get stabilized.
