Question Debugging eeprom access

Hi there,

im new to N64 reverse engineering, and am currently trying to reverse the savegame format of goldeneye, and for that id like to find out where in code the eeprom access happens. so I mean the rom code, not the emulator code, there I can just compile from source and debug (-> github.com/project64/project64/blob/f445483f9cb71a82c7a32955b05b9cae6df82e6a/Source/Project64-core/N64System/Mips/Eeprom.cpp) "CEeprom::EepromCommand" f.e.

I already (-> romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=20415.0) read that eeprom access is done over PI access (0xA4600000) and with ida pro I already found alot places that access this, but im not sure how I could narrow it further down, so I wanted to debug it live.

P64 already has a debugger, but im not sure how I would do it with that, the javascript interface seems lacking, but the log seems to allow logging of PI access (still I havent gotten any output, so dunno)...

anyone some good tips how I could do this?
