Default WCW NWO Revenge Black Screen

WCW NWO Revenge boots straight to a black screen. Has audio, but no video.

I fixed the problem. Here's my solution for anyone else having the issue.
Boot The Game.
Go to options, then settings.
Select config for the specific game.
Plugins.
Then change video plugin to use system plugin if it's not. (For some reason, it wasn't set to this.)

Hi, I know I am a bit late to reply on this forum, but it's worth a try.

I am new to using emulators and have recently downloaded a few wrestling classics. I have WWF Wresetlemania 2000 and No Mercy working a treat, but when I try to get WCW/nWo Revenge up and running there seems to be a problem with the graphics, no matter how I alter the settings. Using Glide64 seems to be the only plugin that gets me any kind of picture, but it doesn't work properly.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Exactly the same thing happened to me, did you find a way to solve it?

Default yes

Options -> settings ->uncheck "hide advanced settings" -> then open the game
->configure graphics plugin -> rom settings -> direct 3d clear mode change that to "only one frame" and you are done

I followed your instructions and I'm a little confused. I followed the instructions to "Uncheck 'Hide Advanced Settings' and reset the game. I do not see anything labeled as "Rom Settings" under the "Configure Graphics Plugin" screen. This is what I am seeing:

I've searched around for anything that mentions "3d Clear Mode Change" and have not been able to find anything related to this.

I came here after searching google for a solution. Here's the answer in case anyone else needs it.

From the file menu, you're going to select "Options", then "Configure Graphics Plugin."
There will be 3 tabs at the top. Click on the "Rom Settings" tab. You will now see an option for "direct 3d clear mode." Use the drop down menu to select "Only per frame." Apply settings and the game should run.

This also works for WCW vs nWo World Tour.

Super late...and haven't been on these forums since 2012 apparently. But anyways...this worked for me. Glide64 3.0 was giving me issue when exiting full screen...but this simple method worked like a charm.

Only thing is, I can't "Apply" this setting...as it wants me to change something in the fields above it where they say "default", and I don't want to change anything for fear of messing it up. Clicking "OK" works, but I have to remember to do this every single time.
