I think those were just example games that he specified, but also sync stability on the plug-in is very build-dependent of what version of Project64 / beta you are using.

I tried this netplay plugin today with a friend on the following games:

Conkers bad fur day
Cruis'n USA
Cruis'n World
F-Zero X
International Superstar Soccer 2000
Mario Kart 64
Mario Tennis
Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Mortal Kombat 4

We played for about 3 hours and never got a desync on any game, so this is BY FAR superior to Kaillera.

Heh, isn't everything?

Meh maybe not really everything, but it's definitely superior to Project64k.

Is there anybody who can contact the plugin creator aqwertyz?

I PM'd him but it's been days, and I don't know how often he visits this site.

If someone can contact him, please notify him or show him this, it is very important to me:

Code:
Hi aqwertyz, I tested your plugin with many games for many hours,
it really never desynced. Awesome work you made there.

However, I got a big request. Please enable the memory pak for netplay.
I'm pretty sure that it would'nt cause a desync.
I can even play Dolphin Netplay with enabled memory card saves without a desync.

I'm looking forward to it.

If there are grammar errors, feel free to correct it. I live in austria and english is not my primary language.

Second comma should be a semicolon, but it's perfect otherwise Okay, back to the shadows I go, I go.

lol, well not just that

Code:

it really never desynced. Awesome work you made there.

The first wasn't really an error with grammar (like a period instead of a comma after "Hi aqwertyz"), since fragments or incomplete sentences are acceptable. In formal writing though it shouldn't be done.

Also, I'm not in touch with him and don't know where else he checks, so I don't know offhand how to contact him either.

It was nice of you to notice the semicolon correction though.

That's probably the grammar mistake most made by adults with relatively good grammar. I've seen it in a couple grammar books I've read as well near the end....

Actually, I'd say your grammar is probably better than most native English speakers.

The netplay plugin was originally a personal project I never planned on releasing to the public. I purposely disabled the memory pak because none of the games I wanted to play require it, and I was worried about desyncs. However, I have the next couple of weeks off, so I might look into it. No promises though.

Also, I don't deserve any of the credit for how well games stay synced when using my plugin. All of that credit goes to the authors of Project64 1.7.

Which games to you play in Dolphin that stay synced? I tried Dolphin's netplay a few months ago with Mario Party 6, but it desynced after not too long.

However, it's a huge improvement to the kaillera modification.
I would be so thankful for a memory pak support, many games are only fun with memory pak saves, For example Turok Rage Wars. Without the memory pak you can't load your analogstick sensitivity configuration, and you can't work on your medals in multiplayer or you can't save your co-op progress.

I play Smash Bros. Melee, Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 and Naruto Shippuuden Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special on full speed without a desync.
Thank's to the USB gecko and Homebrew, I ripped my original savefiles from memory card to PC and the safestates work 100% as long as everybody uses it.
You can watch my Naruto GNT4 netplay here (all characters and stages unlocked):

I'm also the only one on Youtube who succeed on working netplay with these games so I made a tutorial:
