Banjo-Kazooie Fatal Error in Clanker's Cavern

Whenever I come in contact with the key in the lock at the end of Clanker's chain, the emulation stops due to a fatal error. I get a window that says "unknown memory error" and the emulation stops.

What version of PJ64 are you using and what settings?

Any codes enabled or in-game cheats used?
(no idea if in-game cheats cause any unexpected issues or not)
