Default Disabling the Z axis on a 360 controller to play Ocarina of Time

Any help? It looks like XBCD and Xinput are supposed to help this issue, but I'm really not familiar with those programs and was wondering if anyone here could give me a helping hand.

Is Xinput better to use than XBCD?

Guh... Evertime I try to install Xinput it tells me "not enough storage" and then cancels installation. I'm on Windows 7 and have about 100 GB left.

Shouldn't need to install anything. Get the nrage plugin from:

h(tt)p://sourceforge(dot)net/projects/nragev20/

Extract the plugin into the "Plugin" directory of PJ64:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Project64 1.6\Plugin (If you have Windows 7)

Start the program
->Settings
-->Input Plugin
---->Nrage Direct-Input8 V2.2.2 beta

*Sorry, I'm too new to the forum to post a URL, should be clear what to change.*

Thanks for the reply. That completely fixed my trigger problem. However, is there anyway to the adjust the rest of the controls? Or do I have to live the prearranged button mapping?
